We drove to Quebec City after an awesome stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tremblant and expected Quebec to be an extension of our experience. To see real Quebec we decided to stay one night at The Holiday Inn Express Québec and one night in Old Quebec City for an amazing Quebec experience. hotel

The Holiday Inn Express Québec is near both the Pierre-Laporte and Québec bridges and several of Québec City’s major arteries, which provide a convenient and direct link to Jean-Lesage International Airport, the CHUL (Centre hospitalier de l’Université Laval) and Université Laval.

Located in Ste. Foy, this eco-friendly hotel is 0.8 mi (1.3 km) from Quebec Aquarium Park and 2.2 mi (3.6 km) from Laval University. Laurier Quebec and PEPS are also within 3 mi (5 km).

Business travelers will love this hotel’s proximity to area businesses like Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Olympus NDT Canada, Laval University and Chul Hospital. Quebec City Convention Centre is a short drive from the hotel.

Right from meeting with the Front Office Associate upon checking to the Housekeeper who cleaned our room to the General Manager Chantal Nadeau were very professional and always eager to exceed our expectations and did everything possible to make our stay very comfortable.

The suite we stayed in was ideal for families or for long stay business travelers. It offers a separate bedroom with a king size bed and a 42” flat screen tv; a large living room with a queen sofa bed,  42” tv with jackpack connections, a comfortable workstation with both wired and wireless internet connection and a kitchenette with microwave, sink and silverware.  It also has a large bathroom with a glass shower and a bathrobes at our disposal.

We absolutely loved the wood floors and granite countertops.

The hotel offers continental breakfast to all guests. We loved the complimentary breakfast served to us.

The hotel also has a seasonal outdoor whirlpool and a Fitness Centre. The outdoor hot tub is open from mid-June to September.

The Holiday Inn Express Quebec hotel is strategically located at the entrance of the Pierre-Laporte’s bridge and Quebec’s bridge. We are 15 minutes away from the Old Quebec, close to the Aquarium du Québec and also the shopping malls Place Laurier, Place de la Cité and Place Ste-Foy.

24-hour business center is available at this smoke-free hotel. Free WiFi in public areas, and free self parking is also provided. Additionally, coffee/tea in the lobby and a meeting room is onsite.
